If it was possible for the dogs to get any closer to a human body during the hailstorm, they would've been behind us. Their frantic shaking shook them nearly off the floor and into laps. Marble sized hail did minimal damage to our home, the major hit were screen's on SW window's and of course the logs of our cabin look like that of a golf ball intensified.
Hearing the last ping's of hail, dashing outside to see the size, it lined the bottom of our fence and indeed we found marbles of ice and a beautiful rainbow stretched across a dark blue sky, very vibrant and then in an instant lightning scrittered across the entire middle, I grabbed Buster and back inside we went.
We've just closed all our windows as the temp inside is the same as out. Tomorrow we'll bake treats and they'll be ready for next week's farmer's market. Praying for better weather next week, the sun certainly would be nice to see.
Enjoy your week!
