Farmer's market popping up soon

Capital City Farmers' Market opens on Saturday, May 24, 2014 with new hours of 9am-noon. A variety of vendors will be setting up tent tops, unfolding tables covering them with an array of new ideas waiting to catch your eyes. First market is exciting for everyone!

Waiting to be potted and ready to travel.
Bab's Bites 'n Bones will begin the market on Saturday, May 31st. With Memorial Day being early, we pack potted flowers and tool down the highway to meet up with family. Time really does fly, 30 years is a lifetime. We pack lunch, pots of flowers, water and bricks. Flowers are carried to various graves, from cousins, great grands, grands, aunts, uncle's that fought in WWII and parents.

As usual our home has been busy, baking treats, delivering and taking Spring shapes to a store in town. A convenience for those just wanting to stop and shop for other wonderful items and picking up a bag or two of dog treats. Store owners tell us how their dogs "love your treats!" Always heart-warming to hear. We must be doing something right, established in 2007.  It's the great dogs and their people that get to know our treats and us as humans, making natural, healthy treats. We display ingredients and a nutrition label on each bag. We believe in the wholesomeness of our products. Know what you are treating your dog, ask what's in them if not labeled. Your dog might have an allergy.

We have new items that will be shared at the market from dog treats to human treats. We often bake fresh rolls early Saturday morning, come early, they are a limited edition!

Enjoy Spring and as always, help those that cross your path looking for their family, fresh water or simply need help. We continue to do the same. Take care friends.
