We celebrate Christmas all year round. We sing, we dance, we enjoy life, we are blessed! More so this weekend, my sister joined us at the Farmer's Market, we caught up on life and enjoyed eating good foods. Buster warms up real quick and he should be promptly named "Snoopy", Carlee on the other hand keeps her distance, but our voices are similar and she stays close.
Our baking day was shortened by a hot snap, we didn't want to turn on the air, so we stopped and will continue early Labor Day morning. A good morning for coffee and a nap in the chair as it is forecasted to be rainy and cool. We'll bake until we run out of a ingredient. We have orders to fill, we'll bake at least 7 batches of treats which is just over 8 hours of baking.
Last call tonite for the kids was 8:45, it was dark and we don't look forward to the shorter days. No daylight at 6am and dark at 8:30 even the dogs notice last call is getting earlier. They stop drinking water early, no treats til morning.
Linger tomorrow, enjoy whatever you do. Stay safe.
