Buster is from Bowdle and our family lived in Bowdle for 30+ years, storms came and went but nothing like what traveled a course like last weekend. If you haven't heard about the tornado's that lifted farms away, google Bowdle SD tornado and it will send you to several sights with pictures and video's. The narration is freightening.
Potting pretty flowers this week to travel them north to Bowdle, placing them at parents, grand and greatgrand parents, aunts and uncles that served in WWII. We walk, visit and remember, praying over friends that have passed this year. We will help friends where we can and then drive back to a home that still stands on a solid foundation. Counting our blessings. With the EF4 catagory tornado that swept through, nothing could stand against it. Life won out, no injury's to people and we prayed for the animals too.
It's going to be hot, if your dog is out, they'll need shade, plenty of water and shelter from storms.
Safe travels.
