'In for a look-over.'

Weekends are filled with events that interest us, but it is rare we head back into town once home from a Friday, this time of year. 
Shorter days, limited walks on beautiful afternoons. A recent outing brought excitement and quick fall. Carlee back pedaled while lifting her to the ground. This heart dropped, our girl lay still for a few seconds, sat up with closed eyes. Limp along on bad hip brought us home. Concern of course. Car rides create anxiety, but its the scented trail she likes to sniff.

'Step up. Good Girl.'

Vet said, 'nothing broken, but sore and will be stiff.' Pain meds daily, 7 days for our fourteen year old girl. Meds give her no fear, pain is gone. Signs of a fall, they too will pass, in hopes. 

'Its all clear.'

This year an experiment, a line across the top step into our home. With the leash, 'step up' works.

End of the day skies are as stunning as the beginning. Beautiful canvas. We are thankful, blessed and believe in prayer. Tranquil.

 With that in mind, please help animals that need help, we will do the same. After all, our dogs are rescues.
