For Christmas Buster found a new toy in his stocking. A small bear that squeaks, he doesn't squeak it often, but he sleeps with it.
It stays in his chair, if the toy accidently falls out, he gets me and lets me know. I pick up the toy, give it a hug, place it on the chair and scratch Buster's ears, "there, all is good again!"
Not unlike children that have favorite toys, blankets and other securities. We've been a gone a bit more than usual, a worn tshirt is part of Buster's bed and he sleeps sound at night. We miss being home more too. The grass is getting tall, the mower will be started this weekend giving the dogs to run away from or chase, they cannot get close, don't worry. Our list of to-do things is growing and we look forward to starting. What are your plans for Spring?
It's already time for bed and seems as if not much has been accomplished, time for treats and last out. Good night friends, good to see many of you this past weekend at the fair. Take care and scratch ears of animals within reach.
