ZaZu makes his debut...

Zazu came to live with us last week, a gentleman helped me load him into the back of Eli. I patted him, welcomed him and said, ZaZu. It stuck and ZaZu (zaw zoo) is also the know-it-all toucan from the Lion King, if you remember that wonderful animated Disney movie.

Taking him out for a walk today, he's heavier than I would've expected. Zazu is our new push mower. The kids were afraid of it as they should be, we've had a reel mower for several years and it got us through for the time we used. Strict directions on sharpening the blades, finding someone to do so, nill. Our grass is trimmed to a new level, waiting for the rain that will come early next week. We also trimmed a couple rows out in the field waiting for our Arbor Day tree's to arrive so we can just dig and plant.

We went for a ride this morning and walked around the yard, the rhubarb is peeking out and Buster watered to help it along. Iris' are coming as is the sedum. Spring is wonderful and we packed as much outside work into our day as we could. Tomorrow is our last BIG push for baking treats for the upcoming Zonta Spring Fair,
April 18-19th. Bab's will be there, look for us.

Time to bag what we have and do inside stuff even though my heart long's to be outside. Aw, Buster is calling..enjoy the rest of your weekend. We will!
